Welcome to Club NO France

Overview

Following on from informal meetings on the field of nitric oxide (NO) research organised by C. Ducrocq in 1991, the "Club NO France " was founded in 1993. It involved both non-clinical and clinical scientists keen to establish multi-disciplinary links in the emerging field of NO research.

The Club NO France includes chemists, biologists, physiologists, physicians, and pharmacologists all contributing to furthering NO's unique role in physical and life sciences.

Objectives

The Club NO France is an association which aims to further and promote all knowledge related to NO both in fundamental and applied sciences. The Club NO France organises meetings and offers financial help to exceptional students and principal investigators to present their work at national or international conferences as well as attending training sessions relevant to the field of NO research.

Financial help

The Club NO France attributes grants to foster the development of NO research and to facilitate the diffusion of any relevant information in both National or International forums. Please contact either the President, Tresorier or Secretary for information on how to apply.

These grants are only available for Club NO France members with emphasis on PhD students and young investigators.

They can be used for :

  • Cover some of the expenses incurred during one of the Club's member participation at a National or International meeting. To apply, please send a CV and a list of publication together with a summary of current research objectives.
  • Cover some of the expenses incurred in the purchase of new equipment relevant to NO research.
