• Molecular regulation of the NO-synthases and hypoxic signalling: eNOS as a nitrite reductase under anoxia.

• Synchronous photo-initiation of endothelial NO- Synthase activity by a novel nanotrigger addressed to its NADPH site.

• HRI and NO-induced inhibition of protein translation.
